Mt. Washington as a Weathermaker

With funding from a 2007 LESCN Mini-Grant, Freedom Elementary School, Haverhill Cooperative Middle School and NCES are hosting Davis weather stations to learn more about how Mt. Washington effects the weather. Connect the three locations and you have an equilateral triangle with Mt. Washington in the center.

Students will investigate the differences in the real time weather from the weather station. Each station logs its data and sends it to a web page. You can visit the Freedom, HCMS, and NCES weather pages separately.
